We learned a long time ago that our most successful members, in terms of athletic improvements, reaching their goals, and getting the most out of their FRCF membership, were on our Competitive Team. Since every member at FRCF does the same programmed WOD, we identified the key difference. They all worked very closely with one of our Coaches. It is now our endeavor to bring that level of coaching and service to every member of our gym. Today, every member of FRCF works with a Personal Coach to help them meet their athletic potential and long-term goals.
Your Personal Coach will be your guide to help you progress through your training and to formulate and execute your personal plan to achieve success. It does not matter if you are on a plan to train for the CrossFit World Games, if your goal is to get your first unassisted pull up, or you need to lose 30 pounds, you each deserve the same attention to your needs and goals. You each will get a personalized road map, and an experienced Coach to guide you. Our Coaches are some of the most experienced Coaches in the CrossFit world. They are very good at working with any and all fitness and skill levels and tailoring modifications and extras to individual needs.
If you are new to CrossFit, your Personal Coach will teach you the Fundamentals Movements in a private setting at your convenience. These 8 one-hour sessions can be done individually, or with a friend of your choosing. These sessions will get you up to speed quickly, so you can join our group workouts in a safe, effective manner.
Next, your Personal Coach will transition you to the Group CrossFit workouts. At first sight, the group class looks intimidating. But you will be prepared and eased into the workout. Your coach will make sure you are ready for the movements, prepared for the exertion, and oriented to the flow of the class.
Equally important, you will become part of the FRCF community through your relationship with your Personal Coach. They will introduce you to other members and help you meet people with common interests. Your Personal Coach will also introduce you to our systems and gym culture so that you will feel comfortable and know where to find what you need.
The Weight Room will be introduced to you next. There is a Strength Program for you to get started on. There is also an Olympic Weightlifting program and a Competitive Team Program available. Your Personal Coach will help you plan your schedule and what is right for your needs.
Your Personal Coach will be with you as long as you are a member at FRCF.
Although we have many CrossFit workouts and weightlifting classes available to you that are included in your membership, occasionally you may want some extra personal attention. You can always schedule a Private Session with your Personal Coach. Work on a specific goal, address a weakness, or prepare for a competition. Maybe you are just more comfortable in a one-on-one environment when you learn new skills. Your Personal Coach will be there to help you.
