When: This class runs in 3-month cycles on Saturday mornings for one hour.

The objective of this program is to teach kids to value fitness & health, to learn to move functionally and explosively, and to develop character.
Olympic Weightlifting is a perfect balance between the need for mental focus and explosive power. It is a great tool to teach kids body control and to develop strength. The class provides a unique opportunity for kids to work hard and see positive results. They set short and long term goals and develop perseverance, positive thinking skills, focus, patience, self-confidence, determination, discipline, social skills, courage, resiliency, and passion... character traits unique to sport. Not to mention they learn to Olympic Weightlift!
The atmosphere is fun and sessions are broken up with plyometrics and core work. The coaches are both CrossFit and USAW Certified.
